I am a geographer, consultant and producer in sustainability issues, with international experience in environmental concerns, climate protection management, mobility and communication. As a keynote speaker and project developer, I am primarily active in Germany, East Africa, the Arabian Peninsula and the Indo-Pacific region.

I studied Geography, Media and Social Sciences at the University of Paderborn. Since then, I have had a history of implementing innovative and sustainable solutions in approaching specific problems: for example, the many original and award-winning environmental education concepts I have personally developed.

The services I provide are diverse and can be applied in a wide variety of areas: environmental impacts, protected areas, ecosystem management, climate action, climate impact adaptation, mobility, sustainable tourism, destination management, regional development, and geomarketing. I am also expert in media and content production for online, print and TV formats.

As a freelance consultant and producer, I have worked for the United Nations since 2001. As an entrepreneur, I led the company INTEWO | World Habitat Society GmbH which I founded in 2005. In addition, since 2016 I was engaged as the Chief Content officer for the green building startup company LivingCon.

Since February 2023 I am the climate program manager for the municipality of Schlangen. In this responsibility I support the municipality in implementing the international agreements on climate protection at the local level. As the climate protection manager, I am the contact person for politics and administration, business, NGOs and citizens with the aim of integrating climate protection aspects into all processes.

I work flexibly and independent of location. My headquarters are in Schlangen, East Westphalia-Lippe (Germany). I also maintain office locations in Muscat (Sultanate of Oman) and in Bahir Dar (Ethiopia).
